Thank you so very much for attending our Veteran’s Day program at E. Rudd Intermediate last Friday. We were very honored to have you all as our honored guests. The children had looked forward all week to being able to show you their gratitude by saluting the Matagorda County Cavalry veterans. They were so proud and I hope you were too.

The salute to us, by the children was an experience we still talk about. AWESOME!! When I spoke of new American Heroes coming from this group of children, there was no doubt in my mind it was true.
